Hi all

Today I received a rejection notice for the AOS forms because of incorrect check amount.

I submitted the I-485 along with the request for advanced parole and EAD and included a check for $1,010 - I thought that was the amount if you are filing them all together.

They sent back three rejection notices. The first is attached to the I-485 saying the check amount is incorrect...The correct filing fee is $930 and must include $80 for the fingerprint fee. The second is attached to the I-131 - saying the check amount is wrong and the correct filing fee is $305. The third is attached to the I-765 requesting $340....

I thought I only need to pay the I-485 fee if I send them all in together!?

Am I crazy? Please help!

No, you're not crazy but they've hired some contractors to handle intake of petitions and applications and evidently yours was handled by an ignorant one. I suppose it's also possible you used the wrong filing status, so before sending again, check all that out.

I think what he meant is to check all your paperworks once again before you send it. Like page by page, form to form

:) This is all so frustrating! I'm going to call them first thing tomorrow morning to ask how to send the forms back to be sure there are no future problems.

Thanks for your help!

Am I crazy? Please help!

Wish you were but it's the people at USCIS that have problems.

I guess the best thing is to send separate checks for the I-485 and the biometrics.

Include evidence on how you are supposed to file for AOS, EAD and AP since July 30, 2007.

I'd print out page 7 and highlight where it says no need pay for EAD or AP when filing for AOS and you paid the $1010. [$930 +$80]

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
