Fitz, Tradee and the ladies pull up in front of his Fitz’s mother’s home. There is a small crowd of people milling around outside of the house, and others entering and exiting the house. The men step out of the Mercedes, and open the doors for their beautiful women. The small group of friends walk into the house to greet family, and then begin mingling. Friends, family and mourners come up to Fitz to offer their condolences. They offer everything for handshakes to hugs to jokes and short stories they can recall about Frowzy.

Toya stands close to Fitz with a small smile on her face. She expects a somber atmosphere, and lots of raw emotion from family members and close friends that knew Frowzy well. Instead, the mood is jovial and lighthearted. Fitz wraps his arm around her waist protectively, and makes sure he introduces her as his new wife to all that were not in attendance at their wedding. When he smiles down at her, she can see a smile on his mouth, but can feel the angst and heartache reflecting in the mirrors of his soul. Toya turns her body into her husband’s, rests her open palm on his racing heart and tilts her head up as a signal for him to draw nearer. Fitz leans down to place a tender and loving kiss on her mouth.

Toya: *whispering* I love my husband so much. You are my anchor in the midst of every storm. I admire your strength and your courage baby. I’m sure Frowzy is very happily gazing down on us right now. I know you are hurting honey…I’m here and I won’t leave your side.

Fitz: Thank you baby. I love you too. My strength comes from you. Are you hungry?

Before Toya can respond, someone comes over and asks if they can “steal” her husband away for a minute or two. Fitz kisses her forehead and reluctantly follows.

Mya and Tradee are sitting at on a settee outside, eating. Mya is ravenous, and doesn’t care how it makes her look. Toya wanders over and tries to grab something off of Mya’s plate. She is met with a low growl and her hand being smacked.

Toya: Dang Mya! There is more where that came from girl. Ha-ha. Rasta you really should feed your baby mama more often.

Mya: Whatever T. You know better than to try to take food from a pregnant woman! I feel like I’m eating for six people instead of two. This food is so damn good! Nothing in America tastes this good.

Tradee: Baby slow down. I don’t want you to get sick. I told you that you were carrying more than one of my babies in that little fine a*s body. Sexy body gyal! Maybe I should take some gravy home to see if you will find me so tasty. Ha-ha.

Mya: If you don’t stop talking about babiesssss…I know something. Ha-ha. You know I don’t need gravy for your tasty fineness boo…but hey that may not such as bad idea on second thought.

Mya’s phone rings, she sucks food off her fingers and Tradee wipes them off with a paper napkin as she reaches for her purse. She answers, listens for a few seconds, responds in French, then hangs up the phone.

Tradee: Jean Luke?

Mya: Yep. He said that he managed to get the client to change locations for my shoot. They should be here tomorrow afternoon. Jean Luke said that the client wants to start shooting as soon as the get here, and that we should wrap up my the end of the week.

Tradee: What about the pregnancy and your cute little belly that had you so worried?

Mya: Well of course I let Jean Luke know that I was pregnant as soon as I got back to the States. Once he got over his fake heart attack, he is so dramatic. Ha-ha…I just love that man…well once he got over all his theatrics, he started working on the client and pitching a different idea for the ad campaign. The way he tells it, they can’t wait to capture my pregnant radiance. Baby, I want you at the shoot. Can you take off sometime this week to watch me? I may be able to get you in a frame or two if you behave. Have I told you lately how sexy you are to me?

Tradee: Eeehhhnn. Mi nuh moggle…mi nuh batty man. But, of course I’ll stop by. I wouldn’t miss watching you do your thing for the world. How about moggling for me tonight?

Toya: Oh good grief do y’all ever stop? *giggling* Have y’all seen my hubby? I want to do a little flirting of my own. I hope he is okay. He was a little skittish when we first got here. I think I managed to calm him down…but I want to make sure that he is handling everything okay.

Tradee: Eehhnn. Big man yuh marry T. Mek im stay…im alrigh man. Sit here and talk to Mya, and I’ll go check on him.

Toya: That’s sweet Rasta…but I have my own selfish reasons for looking for him. *wiggles her perfectly arched eyebrows and blushes* I’ll see you guys later. Make yourself at home. On second thought, please don’t make yourselves at home. Behave like you are in church Mya.

Mya: Whatever. Hey did I tell you about the time in the church when I….?

Toya: I DON’T want to know. Forgive her Lord for she knows exactly what she is doing.

Mya throws a clean chicken bone in Toya’s direction, to which a stray dog promptly gobbles down and looks up for more. Toya laughs and heads off in search of her husband.

Tradee: Sooo baby…you never told me about the time in the church.

Mya: Oh baby…I was only messing with Toya. Nothing happened in a church, I promise.

Tradee: Baby, I know we promised not to talk about any bad news tonight. But, I want to know something. Will you still want to marry me if I have to do time? I know we agreed to get married in the States…but I want my kids to have my name if I have to do some serious time. Do you think we could get married here before…before…

Mya: Travis! You promised…no sad or bad news tonight. I don’t want to think about you going to jail because you won’t be going to jail if I have anything to say about it. Baby, we can’t get a lawyer until Monday morning. Can we please not think about it until at least after we leave the party?

Tradee: It’s not really a party. We are surrounded by people that know what I did to my own brother, and they know I killed him. News travels fast down here. I really want to talk about us getting married. I mean look how fast things happened with Frowzy and and…*clearing throat* umm…ummm…I mean nothing is promised to any of us Mya. I refuse to allow my children to come into this world without my name. I don’t want you to go back to America baby. When I watched you walk through that airport…and imagined I watched your plane leave the island…it almost killed me.

Mya: Oh honey! You know that I want to marry you more than anything in this world. But, I can’t do it without my parents and family around. I thought we agreed that I would file for a fiance’ visa, and we would get married in New York. I want to get married by the pastor that married my mom and dad. You know this Travis. It killed me to leave you too…but I’m back now. I will always come back until you can be with me in America.

Tradee: You will always come back? I thought you were staying for a while? I thought you were staying until…until…I mean the doctor won’t let you travel after you reach so far along with the babies right?

Mya: Where is this coming from Travis? You know I have to work…I mean I have contracts that I have to fulfill. As it stands, I may be in breech of some of those just because I’m pregnant. I thought we were in agreement about the wedding. I’ve already put down retainers to hold the wedding planner and the location…

Tradee: Where is this coming from? Where is it coming from? Can you stop thinking about yourself and your damn career for one minute? Where have you been since we left the waterfall? I’m about to go to jail for murder. Have you thought about that for one minute? Come on baby…we love each other...this shouldn’t be this hard.
