Hello out there! I called the NVC and spoke to a representative last week. The rep was extremely nice and helpful. She told me the Packet 4 had been mailed to my wife in Serbia on July 28 and our interview at the American Embassy in Belgrade is on September 30. My question for you folks who have had their Packet 4 mailed to Serbia - how long does it take and do both the petitioner and the beneficiary each receive the identical Packet 4 information? Thanks for your replies and good luck!

My Packet 4 arrived in the mail today!! My wife has not received her Packet 4 yet but since mail to Serbia is very slow, I am not surprised she has not received hers. Since I have mine, I don't think it even matters that she hasn't received hers.

That's great news that you received the packet. You could always just mail your wife a copy of yours... that would work for her interview and medical appointment.

Yes, my husband and I are alllllmmmmoooossstttt finished with this process... few more days now until the interview.

That's correct it doesn't really matter if your wife haven't got the packet... If you can sent her the interview letter and everything that this has on (WHAT'S ON PACKET #4?????????????????????????) It will be helpful, you never know when she's gonna get it and she really needs the interview letter for the interview

Good luck to you on your interview. Both of you must be so excited. I know I am jumping out of my skin and our interview isn't for more than a month and a half from now. I will be in Serbia for a few days in the early part of September so if she hasn't received her Packet 4 we will use mine. We are trying to schedule her medical exam for the early part of September while I am in Belgrade. Make sure you post after your interview!!!! Again, good luck!

I will be in Serbia about 3 weeks before her interview so I will take my Packet 4 with me if she hasn't received hers by then. We plan to schedule her medical exam early in September and between now and then ensure she has all of the vaccinations she needs. Based upon your timeline, you have been very fortunate. My attorney mailed my I-130 to the Vermont Processing Center on October 31, 2007. It will 11 months from the time we submitted our I-130 to our interview at the American Embassy in Belgrade.

Good luck and thanks for the reply.

Hi,

Does anyone know if I can scan my P4 and email it to my wife? Or do I HAVE to send it thru snail mail? I am not able to tell the difference between "original" P4 they sent me and its scanned copy because its not color. I dunno maybe I am missing something. Maybe someone else out here knows better.

Thanks,
