Just check my status online and saw this:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE SENT, CASE PLACED ON HOLD

On August 6, 2008, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your mailing address.

***Still can't check the status of my work permit...so I'm assuming everything with that is ok....jeez, I was hoping I WOULDN'T get an RFE but I know it's not the end of the world just have to wait for it in the mail and get it back to them ASAP...

JANUARY 15 2009- INTERVIEW-APPROVED!!

JANUARY 31 2009- GC RECEIVED_No more USCIS for 10 Months[/color]

Thanks for the heads up...this is soooo frustrating...I'm sure it's nothing serious but It's almost like receiving a death penalty when you see one of those things...as humans we always expect the worse...but my God is greater than any RFE and he'll work whatever it is out...

It sucks but hey it's all part of the USCIS mission to frustrate us LOL...Just try to stay calm & positive and send them whatever they asked for...If you don't mind me asking what was yours for? I'm still waitin for mine to come in the mail...

Hi, we had 3 RFE before the end but they always resumed our case within a week of recieving all of the RFE's, so its frustrating but i always felt atleast i knew they were always working on our case.

october 29th 2003 - met Jenny on my first trip to Phils.

december 25th 2003 - visited Jenny again for Christmas :-)

feburary 23rd 2004 - visited once again :-P

may 23rd 2004 - visit again 4th time, stayed 3 months with my sweetie.

novem. 23rd 2004 - visit again, stay 3 months again.

may 26th 2005 - sent I-129f to USCIS

June 10th 2005 - recieved NOA1

august 28th 2005 - recieved NOA2

sept. 20th 2005 - Manila, Phils. embassy recieves our case.

novem. 23rd 2005 - visit my sweetie again :-)

january 10th 2006 - Recieve packet 3 from embassy

feb. 23rd 2006 - interview in Manila (both attended the interview) AR!!! march 17th 2006 - Visa in Hand! yaaaaaaaaeeeeh!

April 6th 2006 - Flight to the states.

July 26th 2007 - Filed for AOS

November ? 2007- RFE for tax papers

November ?2007 - sent in Tax Papers!

March 28th 2008 - RFE for Insufficient income need Co sponsor

June 27th 2008 - Send in Co sponsor papers

July 8th 2008 - RFE for Medical (TB testing redo)

August 8th 2008 - Card Production ordered.

Mine is for my husbands taxes. They are not satisfied with him filing extension this year, so they want him to file his taxes now (even thogh the IRS is giving him time until October) and send them the IRS transcripts for 2007.

I am feelng low because it will take us around 2 more weeks to get that stuff done.

I am also affraid I will get an RFE after this one, and it will be for the medical... Who knows... I just stopped counting that it will be a fast one...

In july 21 I received the same letter asking for request of initial evidence. My letter was asking me to send a new form I693, so i had to redo everything again.....i hope you good luck and i hope your is easier to do than mine......
