Yep!!! Some home cooked Filipino food Fred. hehehehe

Oh, by the way, my little girl calls my SO daddy too and he is very happy about that. HE went shopping last weekend and got her a Baby Alive Doll and several cute kits. I can't wait to see my daughter's face when she opens her Xmas present. Come on USCIS... It's our turn already!

Hehe, I wish I had trouble gaining weight, for me that is easy to do... losing it... that's a persistant grind and even then I'm not always winning. I did manage to do really well for a while and dropped a lot of weight, but haven't been able to repeat that success lately. I have gotten in the habbit of running every day which is good, but wearing my running shoes to work isn't intentional... I am just becoming a space case with the shoes.

I could go for some good old fashioned filipino cooking right about now myself... of course the best place to get that kind of food... costs a bit too much for my budget hehe, but in a few months I'll be sure to get some serious filipino food! I'll also try to pay more attention to how it's cooked if possible, there are a few seasonings or ingrediants that were distinct that I don't know what they are (sure I could look them up online now... but I'm just going to assume wing of bat, eye of newt... and tiger balls...).

You know, I have to admit, I never really knew anything about the Phillipines before I started my journey. Now, whenever I hear the word Filipino, I'll always think of you and the others, HD. :)

About the weight gain/loss, I'm another one who finds it almost impossible to gain weight. I'm 98-103 lbs right now, and my height is 5'5-5'6. I've always been a small size, and Americans make a huge deal out of it whenever I go over. It's my metabolism, I just burn food off quickly.

Happy nearly-end-of-the-week!

Ummm… r we talking about weight loss??? Well I am under extreme pressure right now  because I am going to see my SO on the 14th of this month. Last time when I saw her in April-2008, I was in really good shape, 160 lbs, 5’11”, athletic tone, . However; after getting back to the states, I have been busy with my school (my masters program), my work and also with searching for a house for us to live in when she comes here. Consequently, I didn’t take care of myself and put on 25lbs. :pop: I was 185 :girlwerewolf2xn: about 2 months ago when I book my flight for Pakistan.

But now only a week away from my travel, I am proud to announce that I am 165lbs as of today  and I am hoping to lose couple more pounds in next week or so.

God; so easy to put on these lbs :bonk: and so hard to lose them. This sucks!!!

8 more days till I see my SO. :jest

Stay healthy you all and thanks for being here to here my bull...t

Shan.

Gemmie, that's really sweet that you remember us when you hear things about the Philippines though. I just hope these are all good things. I hate the way the media here works. They exaggerate all stories just to sell it.

I am so happy that you guys are all on the go for something about your meeting your SO in the future. Let's all keep our minds together guys. We can do this.

Things bought today:

1. Body Shop Olive Oil Body Scrub

2. Body SHop Strawberry Body Butter

3. Body Shop cream blush

4. Body Shop Sugaring Hair Removal

5. Waxing Cloth Strips

6. Waxing Applicator

7. Seaweed Facial Care Set

8. 2 sets of top and jog pants

9. Pearl earrings with a tiny tiny diamond. LOL

Next stop.... Hmm.... I'll check my budget again.

Ahh the list of things to prepare for when seeing the SO...

I used to prepare all kinds of things when meeting him; facial scrubs, new clothes, hair colour, manicures, make-up, etc... used to cost me a fortune, as well as the flight tickets! He always told me that I didn't need to do those things because he thinks I'm always beautiful, without effort. On the last few trips, I've just been getting what's needed and not worrying so much about how I look. I still take care of myself and make a bit more effort when I know I'm going to see him, but I don't feel the need to buy a huge batch of new clothes or cosmetics anymore. :) It's kinda nice.

I'm having Chicken Korma tonight... curry is my favourite food!!
