Chicago Area VJ Meet-Up

I'm not for sure if there has been a Chicago VJ meet up before or not, but I was wondering if there are others out there interested?

This is at the extremely starting from scratch step of the planning. I'm just first of all, curious to see if there is much interest. If there is we'll just go from there...

And any and all suggestions for date/time/place will be appreciated!

I will actually be up there Nov. 5th-10 staying with another person from VJ and meeting more from the Yardie thread. If you did it while we were there, we would show up.

Carlawarla did this in St. Louis last year. It was like pulling teeth to get everyone to agree on anything.

I'll give you some help with what little I know.....we met from another website two years ago in Chicago. We went to some Chinese Restaurant in Wrigleyville (which BTW could've gotten me killed---I am a Cardinal fan for God's sake!). We walked in front of Wrigley Field and then made a left down the street, if that helps you any. I'm bad with directions, sorry! Someone in Chicago picked a restaurant big enough to hold whoever was coming, called and inquired, and then made a final count the week before and made a reservation under ETJ. We all just showed up at the appointed time. It was a lot of fun.

Guys, please don't hold out for me or anything. I was just saying we will actually be there then and IF it falls in that time, we'll be there. I'll bring along some of the Yardies (Jamaican thread).

we're about 5hrs from Chicago but Neil has been wanting to make a trip up there so we might be interested. Just depends on the date because of my classes.
