Got a text from Shannon whilst I was at work telling me to call there was an emergency, made my excuses with work and called her..........................

I am just wondering; we know our case got assigned to an officer Nov 13. How long this it take from there to get any news??? Anyone?

i just sent my fiancee the affidavit of support and I129f packet

shes swinging by the embassy next week to pick up packet 3.

wish us luck!

Well done everyone! congratulations!!!

I received a RFE, does anyone know if there is any way to find out what is needed rather than just by waiting for the post/mail? Its driving me nuts! There is no info as to what it is we need to send in the email :(

I'm first time poster... I also got an RFE via email alert today. I have no idea what they would need! Just curious...did the RFE turn out to be something trivial? Also, how long did it take for you to receive the letter after you got the initial email? Hope everything works out on your end!

Or actually, we didn't even get it, but today I received an envelope from the American Consulate that they received our file and can begin process our case!!! I am so excited, isn't that the best way to start the weekend!!!

In the mean time on the website of USCIS it still says that our case is pending, no email notification, nothing.

I did receive an email today from our lawyer, she said that our case was approaved on Nov. 26

I don't know what took her so long, but nothing can spoil the good news.

WE GOT OUR NOA2!!!!!!! :yes::lol::yes::lol:
