Amy,

that does sound good, but also sounds like it could be a canned answer to AP inquiries. What sounds truley promising to me is that they are sending a "gentle reminder" to the CO...which means you arent necessarily stuck in the black hole of background checks but are actually waiting on the CO to finish something up in the file.

I would email back and just say that they already have his PP and you just wanted to make sure that they knew that... or something like that

:waves: to all

Sharifah,

Im getting excited for you too! All these touches.....

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Finally Sharifah!

Ok so we got distracted packing to move out of our apartment by the end of this month. Now I'm back at Hubby's clinic working on packet 3 and going to finish this sucker tonight. Good thing we waited too because his medical check was still being shipped too us...duh.

Now I just have to make a cover page, a table of contents, a *special situations* attachment letter and poof we're on our way to Luxor for the next two days and then to Cairo before I fly out.
