For a family member coming to the US for a visit can any of you guys recommend a reputable travelers insurance?

We used Travel Insured and it paid my son's claim without any hassle. He is a USC, so those fine points have to be looked at. My son is invincible, but got gored by a water buffalo when visiting Vietnam, despite his superior martial arts skills. He even believes in insurance now.

There must be loads of Insurers offering travel insurance in India.
