I saw something about this on Oprah. I don't know if it was a re-run because I don't watch that show very much. But Dr. Oz was on and they talked about your "real age" and a website you could go to. So I did it to see if my age would be older than my birth date. He told the audience that most of them were not aging well. They did more in depth testing including making them do exercises.

Surprisingly, I was a couple years younger than my birth age(24.5 or something). They take a lot of things into account: health, exercise, happiness, smoking, lifestyle, etc. Well besides sometimes carrying a 17lb or so baby around I don't get a lot of exercise and I am not in my target weight range at all so I was surprised I did well. The test is a few pages long online. I just thought it was interesting. They also provide plans for getting yourself into a better physical age. It shows strikes against you and things you are doing right.

You don't need to post your real age unless you want to...I just wanted to post this so people knew about it.

Ok, my real age is 53.1 and my apparent age is 50.3 - must be doing something right. It says I need more Omega 3 in my diet but it doesn't ask if I take a supplement instead of eating more fish - which I do. It also says I need to do more strength training - I guess moving furniture to vacuum doesn't count?

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
