I have been given conflicting advice,I just had an interview with the us embassy in London for a visitors visa and was denied,I was not excluded from applying again.I am now about to file for the K1 visa and have been told that my denial will have an adverse affect on the petition. The reason I was denied was because I had not spent long enough in my country(the UK).Can anyone advise?????

I was denied a visitor's visa twice: once prior to filing for K-1 and once while I-129F was pending - had no problem at all (no impact on my K-1), I don't think you'll have a problem at all either

It wont have an effect. My hubby was in Uk from Pakistan on student visa. He too had applied for a visitor visa but was denied. I went to Uk that summer and we followed with the K1 visa application. When he finally got his interview it did not come up as a matter of concern. It wont effect you. Dont worry.
