I aboslutely agree with you... All I have been doing is calling the USCIS directors office (Michael Ayetes) every single day and sometimes two or three times in a day to complain to all of them... My I-130 was there for 16 months without a single touch ... only after I started complaining there were touchs everyday, this week requested further evidence, we sent, and again called to coplaim and make sure they had received... Hey monday morning I am on the phone again complaining... since they do not care to read our posts, at least I feel a bit better of telling them myslef how unhuman and irresponsible their snale pace have been to our families... ( I actually got to know all the officers there by first name after been on the phone with them for over a month...)

It is not joke, it is sad, agonizing, disrespectful and simply ridiculous what they do, how they do, and when they decide to consider adjuticating our families life... This is not just a visa... this is our family well being, physically, mentally, emotionally and financially... as for all of us who are separated from our spouses goes through distress in all these areas...

I agree with all you have said 10000%...

Best of luck to all of us.

I've spoken to Jessie, Beth, Barbara, and one man who i didn't catch his name, he was as useless as tits on a bull

my senator takes the cake too, I wrote to him because he sent me an email, and a form to fill out so they can check my case, you know what he said, your case should be looked at in the next 4-5 months, I filed in September, argh, he was oh so sweet to send me something so very helpful you'd never believe it, you can't imagine how I needed him to do this for me

he sent me the priority dates from the uscis web site

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, i am so ANGRY

but you know what they are all laughing at us, they don't care what we have gone through, I have three teenagers, these poor kids have never had a dad, I have been single since my kids were 1, 4 months old and I was two months pregnant, they have never had a dad, until now, well the past four years

but i have two boys and one girl do you know how hard it is to raise boys without a dad, and its not fair to them, they have waited just like me, but they are kids this is killing them, my oldest one keeps saying dad will never get here, we've waited so long. its been four years that we wait, because they messed with my case the last time and it expired

they suck

they really suck a lot

immigration sucks

good luck to everyone , all of us that have suffered I feel for you

Kathleen

You talking to me?

are you serious? how dare you say anything to us while we wait for our spouses.

you must be some sort of stupid, realize the whole process is backwards, you just got lucky and consider yourself cause you now have your husband with you

who do you think you are?

this site is irritating because of morons like you, with your head shoved up your ###

good luck to you in your life, your husband will need luck with you

you don't seem too brilliant

sarcastically speaking, why dont we call vsc and ask them if we all need to get annulments so we can file k1's instead? seems like they would rather prioritize fiances, so might as well start from the beginning? duh!

hannahP, this is in defense of Kathassane, she has her reasons why she filed the spousal visa just like the many of us here who have spousal visas. if we had a choice from the start, of course we would have taken the faster route. hannah, you are just lucky, looking at your timeline, your approval was fast. if you were in the same boat as the rest of us here, you would also be ranting at uscis.

Not the first time I see these type of posts coming from you. But hey thanks for input....

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Some people don't understand that there are reasons to file for a K-3 or an IR-1 over a K-1. I hope Ms. K-1 doesn't need to leave the country to visit her elderly parents or her children during the time she is waiting for advance parole to be granted.

HI everyone

I agree with you\with the K-1 getting half as fast which is not fair

Well talk about fairness

We got our fit I-130 sent back because someone at the USCIS help line gave my husband the wron amount

and for some reason our mail is also snail mail

we lost a month almost waiting to get a rejection notice

Then we call again because we didn't get anything and we where send to Vermont office

but the NOA1 is missing in the mail, and they won't resend it

We finally got someone to give us an address a better address to send the I-129F

which got rejected the 1st time to this time for wrong address

So we are really Heart broken and scared

I am missing my husband everyday

to the point it is getting depressing

but we mist month because of mistakes they did.

And we get the butt end of the deal because seems to me California is going faster

I feel your pain, I still have yet to receive my NOA1's regarding my wife and step-daughters I-130 petitions, I have yet to receive emails regarding some of the info. I have received the NOA1 regarding the K3/K4 though, I requested an expedite due to fighting in the area where both my wife and step-daughter live with another country, when I called in the expedite request, the person taking the request entered the info incorrectly which caused my wife's expedite request to be denied, they never sent me anything regarding that, I had to call to find that out. So I feel your pain.
