Are staples ok for the I-129F forms? My Fiance and I read about certain types of bindings to use for the forms, but I want to make sure you can use staples. I do know that staples can make that particular corner of the package bulky.

DON'T use staples. We used paper clips because I read somewhere that they don't like staples! some kind of clip is the best.

I can tell you they say use Acco clips and they say NOT

to use staples!

However, check me out to make sure I didn't dream it; I used Acco clips.

Also, you might just go to the VJ FAQs for K-1 and I'd bet, though I don't know, they have the assemblying tips and steps.

Oh boy. Who can remember the old "ACCO Fasteners" discussions?

They say not to staple, since they may well wish to rearrange the documents when they receive them. We used paperclips. All was well.

They aren't going to send it back if you use the wrong type of paper clip or staple. Just make sure that everything is clearly tabbed at the bottom, so documents can be easily located and that it won't fly apart if dropped.

I've always used staples and I've never had any problem. I even leave the instructions lol. They jyst took them off ad thats it

I thought about tabbing at the bottom like is suggested; I didn't do it.

I did use paper clips and Acco clips depending on the size of what I wanted to hold as a unit.

I also made tables of contents for the various levels.

I filed with TSC; it was sent to CSC that was maxed out in case loads when it received mine.

I got the approval in two months spot on.

We'll see how the rest goes; who knows.

And I didn't use a lawyer; I did use a paid immigrant visa advisor with expertise for a couple C-notes who advised me; at the end, I did what I thought made sense after much research.

What are ACCO fasteners? *CLUELESS*

Another thing, when I copy my birth certificate in black and white it shows up "void" that you normally wouldn't see on the document itself. I tried it in color and it also shows up "void" but not as bad. Will they be mad about that as well?

Well my thoughts on this for every packet I have put together is they given you pretty clear instructions on how they like things assembled, so why not follow their instructions.
