No, here in Dominican Republic it isn´t strange because b/f and g/f doesn´t spend the night in each other house because here is common to live with parents until you get marry, so it is normal here to use this kind of motels.

There is a place which is called the baby city, because is one street full of motels both sides. You can rent from 1 hr to a whole month if you want.

I like how no one is touching this thread with a 10' pole. Cause otherwise every post will start with "I had a friend . . . . "

:secret: let's not talk about 10' poles or eric will show up.

There all over Brazil, and it's common for the reason that Panamania stated - it just takes some getting used to if it's not common in your culture (IMO). I always thought of motels (rented by the hour) to be for prostitutes and drug users - in the U.S. that is. So to see so many in Brazil was a bit strange at first...

No, I said in the U.S. I mean that my impression of motels in the U.S. - those that are rented per hour - are only for prostitutes and drug users.

I was surprised when I first go to Brazil to see that motels are rented by the hour for couples (often boyfriend and girlfriend) since they often live with their parents and don't have privacy.

I'm not really a fan of any place called a "motel". I wouldn't go near one.

Why not?

You don't like sharing your bed with these?

Where did Panamania say anything?

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

I like my bed to be free of bugs and body fluids.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.
