Hi, everyone. I received NOA 1 week after I sent I-751 package. And then I received BIO appointment two days after. I went to Bio last Wed. I have been checking USCIS.gov to see if they update my case. So far, they haven't . I want to know when they are going to update my case. Does anyone know?

Also, How long do I wait to hear something from the time I did Bio?

By the way, my package was sent to VCS from TSC. That's what online case said.

Yeah, now you wait. We had the biometrics on May 21st and the update listed as May 22nd. So far, not another touch. Hopefully you just need to wait for the processing to be done and the card to be sent in the mail. Let's all pray for no RFE's and quick approval. Understand that it is summer so there will be holidays and vacations which will slow down the processing, so just go on with your life.

Hang in there, just a little longer to long term freedom.

What happens after bio is the same as what happens after you turn in your I-751, or any documents, to USCIS...

You check your status online - every morning, every hour, every coffee break, every lunch break, before heading home, when you get home, before going to bed :lol::lol:

Hi,

I apologize if it was answered before; after fingerprints, are there any updates on line about biometrics being done? Or we will see: case received and pending for a good while? Thanks!

There are no online updates changing the information after you get the biometrics done. What often - but not always - happens is that the date of the case status update changes. This is called a 'touch' and it just means that your file was handled in one way or another and the information logged into the computer. Unfortunately, files can be handled and the information not logged into the computer so there is no date update, meaning that getting touched is really more 'reassuring' than significant.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
