Problem with the Law.. Will this affect my K-1 process?

Hello, I know most people can obtain a K1 Visa if done right, but my major concern is that I had a run in with the Law back in 2001, (settled in 2003, I think) for credit card fraud. You see, I used to work for a retail store back in college and I made the mistake of using few customer’s credit card to purchase items for myself (Total worth about $1000). I was caught and plead guilty in court and sentenced for few months of probation, no jail time and paid back the money I used. Do I need to add any additional document with my I-129F? Will this prevent me from obtain the K-1 Visa? Will it delay the process? If so, for how long?

Thanks

No worries whatsoever with regard to the above. Proceed with the fiance visa process as if this never happened.

USC or Alien? answer is dependant on who you are....

Regardless there are no I-129F petition issues with this.. visa issues not as clear cut.

I am a U.S. Citizen filing for I-129F. So, looks like this will not affect my process. Cool.

Right. Do try to be as clear and precise as possible when filling the form and asking questions here. You will never apply for or obtain a K1 visa. It's your fiance(e) who applies for and obtains a visa. You file a petition to grant her the privilege of doing so.
