Timeline

I have a question about my petition. By looking at the new dates which is December 18 for the K1 Fiance Visa, is my approximate date to get a NOA2 two months or one month if I sent my i129F In jan.15. My NOA1 was febraury 13 :unsure: thanx guys....

My Journey

May 2007 - Met my True Love

December 2007 & January 2008 - Visited her in the Philippines

January 1, 2008 - Got Engaged

January 15, 2008 - Sent I-129F

January 18, 2008 - Received

February 13, 2008 - NOA1

February 15, 2008 - Check Cashed

June 25, 2008 - NOA2!!!!!!

June 28,2008 - NOA2 Received!

July 11, 2008 - NVC received petition

July 14, 2008 - NVC sent petition to the Embassy

July 17, 2008 - I received NVC letter containing my MNL number

July 18, 2008 - U.S. Embassy receives petition

August 4-5, 2008 - Medical

August 6, 2008 - Paid DV

August 15, 2008 - Interview PASSED!!!!!

Sept 11, 2008 - Visa in Hand!!!

Sept 27, 2008 - POE in Honolulu!

Timeline

December are the oldest cases processed by USCIS at the moment.

As far as i've seen on Igor's list they are shooting out lots of approvals with an NOA1 dated early February...So yours must be on it's way!

NOA1: 03-24-2008

NOA2: 06-04-2008

Interview: 07-10-2008 - APPROVED!!!

Going back home: 07-23-2008 yaaaaay

Court house wedding: 10-09-2008

AOS sent: 10-16-2008

NOA1 for AOS, EAD and AP: 10-22-2008

Case transfered to CSC: 11-07-2008

Biometrics: 11-12-2008

EAD an AP approved: 12-23-2008

AOS approved: 2-27-09

Those dates mean nothing except to tell you the filing date of the oldest petition still sitting around without a decision. Most are approved well in advance of what the USCIS processing dates would indicate. A better predictor is the VJ timeline data. Scrolling down on your timeline reveals...

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between June 23, 2008 and July 10, 2008*.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
