co-sponsor, need info please :)))

I would have thought..no..unless BOTH parties are down as co-sponsor.

Do you mean a second signatory giving 'permission' for the spouse to co-sponsor? Because I can't imagine that is required. You have to have the funds to be able to co-sponsor, and be an adult, and therefore need no 'permission'

Maybe I have misunderstood your question, or the reasons behind it...

Hello Guys,

my question as above: if co-sponsor is married, does the spouse have to sign also?

Thanks a lot for info.

Ana

No. That's not how we did it. My fiancee's dad is co-sponsoring me, and only

he signed the I-134. His wife did not sign anything.

Unless your co-sponsor's wife is also co-sponsoring you with her own I-134

(separate from her husband's), then she doesn't need to sign anywhere.

This is exactly what I asked about, thank you so much for your help, both of you:)))

Ana

I'm in the same situation My fiancee's dad is co-sponsoring me. He has sent the I-865 form does he need to send the I 135 form instead??

This is for the London Embassy.

I am putting packet three together now to send out so I guess I have a few weeks to recieve it.

If anyone knows which one I need please let me know.

Thanks,

Steve.

P.S. There is a short wait for medicals at the moment - booked mine today in London and they had one for next week!

K visas use the I-134. The I-864 will be required when you adjust status in the US.
