Has anyone gotten an interview assignment lately? First, the consulate in Bangkok lost most of our Packet 3 (I discovered after an email inquiry that suggested we didn't send the info -- WRONG). Now we re-sent and they don't respond to an emailed inquiry asking whether it arrived.

I have heard that the Nairobi Kenya Embassy is notorious for losing Packets so I called up the Embassy and told them my fiance would pick up the packet in person before the medical. They let me schedule an interview appointment over the phone for the date of my choosing: Jan 12th!

I'm not sure how far away you are from the Embassy (My fiance lives 20 hours away in another country!) But I would see if you could arrange to be in Bangkok for about 10-12 days--schedule the medical and interview within a week of each other and arrange to pick up the packet when you first arrive. The Nairobi Embassy said that all we needed was a copy of our NOA2 to pick up our packet. Hope this helps.....

Thats such great news, I am so happy for you both yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Cant wait to see you post that you have your NOA2

Just a bit of information for you, as of June the 1st for AOS you nees to have the TST scratch test, I know somone who had his medical after that date had the jabs but was not told he had to have the tst, so now he will have to have another medical in the States just so he can have the TST, so will have to pay for it all over again

Just thought I would pass this informaiton on to anyone having the medical, well this is what happened in the UK, I have my medical on the 19th so I will give them a call tomorrow to see if they are now doing it.

Hey, thanks for sharing this information.

What exactly is TST? :help:

Will they do that test with me anyways at the medical since I guess they should know that it is required?! Anyone else here who knows anything about it?

I already got so many shots lately that I should be immune against everything right now! :star: (didn't want all of them at once at the medical that's why I already did them)

@ Chibby: Und? HPV Impfung überlebt?! hehe

I'm so happy to hear your case wasn't lost or anything. Now that officer needs to hurry up

I'm sure you will hear something soon :star: Cari had her medical like 2 weeks ago and she didn't say anything about a TST test. I wonder how they would control it, from what I read you would have to come back after a few days to have the result read...

AOS at MSC/CSC 04/07/09 - 07/08/09 - DONE!

@ Chibby:

@ all:No news this week from us. Guess the officer is using our photographs as a dartboard.

Does aybody know how long it takes from being assigned to an officer to some NOA 2 or RFE?

Happy St. Nikolaus!! I hope you all have cleaned your shoes to get some chocolate?

Does this exist anywhere else than Germany today??

Hii.all... I have Question for I134 notorized... :help::help:

I went to my bank today to get my I-134 Affadavit of Support notarized. Last time few month ago..they did that seal was embossed but Today, according to them, everything is simply stamped with an InkPad Stamp on I-134 if ink stamp... they said now no longer use an embossed? Duuh..

Has anyone else experienced to getting documents notarized without a raised (embossed) seal? Anyone ever have any experienced problems with of these kinds of notarizations?

Things just changeing every day :bonk:

yes that is the way most are doing it now, its just as good as the embossed ones.

Happy St.Nikolaus tho (to everybody who celebrates it). Have you been :innocent: and had some sweets in your shoe?

Or have you been  the past year and got a nice whipping with a tree branch? lol

Another week has gone by and still no NOA2. I really think they lost it or something the website I dont think is updated I haven't gotten touched since july. My friend got his before me and I filed a month before him. Everyone seems to be getting theirs and I still got nothing :crying:

Sweety,

I know how you feel. We are still in the same boat. If you can make an infopass appointment to make sure it isn't lost and you can ask them directly if you are stuck in some kind of security check. Maybe that will give you some peace of mind. Even though we seem to have already been assigned to an officer nothing is moving. So...we can only drink tea and wait. Try to relax a bit. We will both see our SOs very soon. We should be happy about getting married.

Don't allow USCIS to take away that joy!
