Melusine! Tell CBR where to find beaver tails in Montreal!

You can find them in a store around the old port area I think and also in few shopping centers. I used to buy some In Carrefour Laval in Laval, there is a little thing in the middle that sells icecream, moola fresh fruit juice and beaver tails

I was amazed to find out that elephant ears at any carnivals here are the same, but just bigger

First off, a heartfelt congratulations to you both!

actually the guy at the consulate asked me also if it was a hardware or a software job then we talked about me, as a 3d animator, he asked if i worked on anything he knows... i said not yet but i will !! then we had a chichat about mac and pc....was funny (he prefers mac !)

This is too funny! We had the same interviewer, b/c after you wrote that, I remembered more of our interview! He also asked me if I had done anything he'd seen and told me how he does photography and prefers macs.

Hmmm, Beaver Tails, Elephant Ears. In Mexican bakeries, the same pastries are called orejas. Elephant tracks, knee patches, Swiss nothings, hocu-pocus crispies, angel wings, and langos (pronounced “langosh") chrusciki (Polish pastry). In St. Louis they're called Funnel Cakes.

Hahaha ! Rae,,,yep looks like him... like a guy gray hair super energetic happy kind of person, it was cool and nice.

and when he ask put your right hand (and obviously he put his right hand in the air)...the first thing you do is copy him as if he was on a mirror.... then you think about it.... look at both of your hand to figure out wich one....oh the right.... (no comment..lol)

Yes! They're called funnel cakes here too! I had one at the arts and crafts festival we went to here in town. YUMMMMMM.
