Wow I just got my approved Advanced Parole in the mail - and I wasn't expecting anything since I never got an e-mail saying it was approved or the status on-line was updated. weird but good!!!

Now come on CSC!!! approve my GC already!

me too.. I never got an email saying that "APPROVAL NOTICE SENT". and they didnt changed my status online too!! hmmm..with all the touches going on lately..maybe they'r too busy?! but it's OK..

IS IT TOO LATE TO HOPE FOR A TRANSFER AT THIS TIME?? just maybe...i hope so

me too am waiting...... waiting........waiting. it suppost my GC will be arrived this week but becoz of the hurricane here in florida so it delays. so my next expectation on August 26, 2008............ so i hopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee will be fulfilled.

Received my AP in the mail today and a letter to do Biometrics for my EAD on the 09/09. I have a question for you guys can I go in sooner by just taking in the appointment letter. I really wanna get this ball rolling.

I read some thread regarding this....one guy said that a lady from the bometrics center told her that people can actually get their biometrics done as soon as they receive their notices/appointment letter. and that they dont have to wait for the set date given to them. you could walk-in I guess. I mean, it's worth trying it.. i wish i've known this when i got my apt letter back then. but anyway, GOODLUCK! and congrats to ur AP!!!

Thanks a lot I will call USCIS just to make sure. But I had read somewhere in this tread that someone actually did that. I will call USCIS on Monday and see if they object to me doing this (just to hear it from the horses mouth). Thanks a lot and good luck to all you guys with your approvals.

They are not open on Monday. Tuesday-Saturday is their work days, at least here in California. I was the one who the USCIS employee talked to. Someone in the July filer called USCIS and they said to her she cannot do it but she went anyway the next day and it was done.

Just curious, are all the recent EAD approvals folks that got transfered to CSC? Are all the recent touches CSC transfers as well? We haven't been transfered and have no touches/updates since our biometrics on July 16. (sighs...)

I'm so glad for the recent activity for you guys, hopefully those touches mean approvals this week. Good luck, and congrats!

nope...they haven't TOUCHED my I485 since after my biometrics. I dont think my case is gona get transferred.maybe becuz I'm not k1 K2 K3?

I was not transferred & I had no touches on any of my apps before I got the EAD email last week 8/18. My NOA dates were 6/10 & bio 7/03.

Hopefully it'll happen this week for you!
