Hi all,

Reading all these posts made me think that Texas will not be sending NOA 1 for I-751 but to my surprise there was one waiting for me in the mailbox yesterday, my question is do we still need to get the stamp in the passport to travel and work or is the NOA good enough.

Thanks

Did the NOA come from Texas or Vermont? We filed in December 2007 at Texas and the NOA came from Vermont (no transfer notice received).

Per USCIS the NOA is good for work and travel, so the stamp is not needed.

((Success))

I did not notice where it came from but the receipt number starts with SRC I think.

The NOA can be used for everything.....work, travel, renewing a DL, etc till it expires in roughly one year....IF it expires, you then need to go get that stamp till approval.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Wow - not to get hopes up, but it would be great if they started mailing those again!

Not to get your hopes up, but we did finally get ours yesterday.

Oh don't worry - since my application has only been with USCIS a few days, no reason to be hurried!
