Well, I dont think im understanding this that good... i read once NOA2 reaches NVC, they will send you some forms like DS3032 and some others,, (one by one).. if so, it will take a long time for them to send the package to the consulate.... right?

on the other hand... i heard you only have to wait for package 3 and gather all those forms and then bring them to the interview...

how is it? can someone explain please?

Karol as a K-1 you dont do any of that at NVC....that is for those doing CR-1. You will only be at NVC for a short pitstop and then off to the embassy and you wait for the packet 3

The first scenario you mentioned is for an application for a CR-1 or IR-1.

The second is for a K visa.

Since you seem to be applying for the K-1, you will get packet 3 from the consulate. You won't get the DS3032 and IV bill and all that.

Edit: Oops ... Just saw Aussiewench post after I posted my reply.

http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/wwwhivfm.html Scroll down to the fiance packet. I would also double check with others going through juarez as to what else may be required. Edited by aussiewench
