You should contact the Embassy/Consulate that issued the visa.

More like a day or two, perhaps faster if an emergency due to flight plans. Ask the Consulate when you get there.

The only name that will matter on the visa is the name of the beneficiary. If the beneficiary name matches the passport you won't have a problem. The previous posters seem to think the beneficiary's name is the one in error.

I am the visa holder/beneficiary, there is no problem on my part. The error is in my fiance's first name.

So it will not affect my entry to the US?

Thank you and God Bless

If you have time to fix it, I would. Otherwise, no, I don't expect it will present a problem. You'll only use this visa one time. If they notice the error at all, they'll probably chuckle about it instead of causing a problem.
