He was surprise that he paid very cheap.

how cheap is cheap?

To the salon that i often visit, cost around $4 for both Manicure and pedicure, $4 for Foot spa with free massage with my legs and arms, and tip of P200 (or $5) (take note: this salon serves free juice , haha)

So yeah this is pretty cheap compared at salon price in US.

Sure, if you have Western money, but isn't it relative to salaries in the Philippines? It's just like when we were in India, pedicures were a couple of dollars. Hubster had a 60 minute full body massage for less than $10. But yeah, I'd like a $4 mani/ped.

I just converted only to dollars for you to understand when i say the price here in P.i, But we use peso here. A P160 manicure and pedicure (or $4) .

A pedicure over here is €45....and that's not a fancy salon.

How much it in dollar?

Depends on how much salaries the person earn, like in other countries, people have different level of wages. And yeah, that is still cheap. A P500 hotel price is the expensive one.

A manicure is only €20 ($30) though.

I think people over here just don't want to touch other people's feet. Can't blame them :P I hate feet too!

I've never had a pedicure. I got a gift certificate for one awhile ago but still haven't used it! I will sometime soon..not sure I am big into other people touching my feet. Maybe I'll feel different after getting it done and having new prettier feet. :P

I agree. It weirds me out.

What are people's favorite nail polishes? My favorite right now is "India Mood for Love" by OPI. :)

I do pedicure and manicure to myself once a week, and visit salon only once a month for foot spa with manicure and pedicure. That's my way of relaxation. Sometimes, when i am in mood i do nail art also to my nails. I like nails short, and i like yellow, red, green, blue nail polish , and other shocking colors, hehe. :D

:)

If you go and decided to have it, just be careful because some people who do it are careless doing cleaning the nails and ends up hurting clients. :)
