We are planning trip to Cancun soon. The question is my wife's removal of condition is still pedning. Has anyone had any experience going to cancun? any problems with immigration coming back? I hear that most of the time the problem isn't at the immigration at US POE but rather coming out of cancu (or any country for that matter). They give a fit about having expired green card.

any experiences?

Interested to know, as my wife is overseas at the moment (SA) and is due to come back next week with the expired GC and the stamp. Can post what she encounters down there. But i guess it will vary country to country but there should be no problem if they have a stamp or the letter stating that the GC is still valid.

As long as you have the extension letter....still valid.....and a valid passport, I am sure they have seen it all the time.
