so what, people shouldn't include children that are born to the couple once they are in the US then?

what is the harm in including all the children...??

no one is denying the fact that you should list the children that are removing conditions with you...

why would the form say this then if it didn't want you to include children that didn't immigrate with you??

If in U.S., give address/immigration status

We included our daughter who was born in the US. Of course it didn't cause us any problems. We also included her birth certificate as part of the evidence.

The form clearly says "list all your children". Throughout the I-751, the word "you" and "your" is used to refer to the alien removing conditions. So it seems very clear to me that all children of the alien removing conditions should be listed. Children of the US Citizen spouse who are not also children of the alien removing conditions wouldn't seem to meet the criteria.

Yes, they also say "make sure to include any conditional resident children applying with you in order to have their conditional basis removed". If you follow the instructions which say to "list all your children", you will also be complying with the instructions which say "make sure to list any conditional resident children applying with you in order to have their conditional basis removed."

well i have 4 children from previous wife, what they have to do in removing condition. thats why i had called the #800 customer service. they told me that is about children if they have immigrated with the spouse who is removing condition. i had spoken to two different customer service persons. may be both of them gave me wrong info.???

i read this section is being about the children of the petitioner (the person who is removing conditions), not USC. If USC has children from prior marriage, these children are not "your" children for the LPR. But if LPR has *any* children, I would include them all, as per the instructions.

Yes, exactly.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

I don't have children from previous relationships, only one child with my husband (USC). I did include our son, put "US CITIZEN" in the box, copied the birth certificate and sent it off with all the other stuff. I don't think they gonna get all hung up on that. If they do, they should really explain that part a little better cause then - according to the paperwork - I don't have any children (since my son didn't immigrate with me and eggs don't count, right?)

Removal of Conditions Timeline:

05/19/2008 - received I551 extension stamp via INFOPASS

02/12/2009 - APPROVED

02/21/2009 - GC received...no mistakes...valid until 2019
