Whats wrong with NVC Phone number

I have been calling since 6 am. I keep getting the message that all of their lines are busy but when it rings it tries to go to the operator but then just disconnects me.

Are you guys experiencing the same thing?

Phone is not evein going to the automated system. I don't really need to talk to an operator, just want to check status in automated system.

Try calling them when they are open, and not at the exact moment they open, how about later in the day? I always got an operator when calling them after 3pm Eastern.

Can someone please let me know when they are able to get through today. I have never had a problem before, I always call early in the morning and can talk to an operator or just check automated system.

Please let us know if there is something wrong with NVC phone number and when you can connect, 603-334-0700.

I just called it and got through to the automated system just fine. Have you tried calling them late at night, around 11:30pm EST always worked for me.

I had the same problem this morning! I tried around 8:15-8:20. Never heard anything like it on there! It first came up with the message saying "Thank you for calling the National Visa Center, (then the same in Spanish), Due to the high volume of calls, all our lines are currently busy. You will be forwarded to the automated system when a line becomes free (or something to that effect, then Spanish and a pause). Thank you for calling the National Visa Center. For English Press 1 (pressed 1 then another pause. Now comes the Spanish message you hear when you can't get through to an operator 'Lo sentimos mucho por la espera...') All operators are currently busy, please hold while we transfer you to the automated system." This was followed by a pause, then click! It hung up! I called back a few times and eventually it just stuck me in queue to speak to an operator. Good thing I did. Apparently I got an RFE today on my DS-230

HI Pak,

I was having the same problem with the NVC hotline yesterday. I tried calling them from 11am PST (2pm EST) till about 6 pm PST (9pm EST). I did not get through to an operator until at about 7pm PST I decided I would call and then redial right away until I got through. This took about 20 minutes. I would wait until the late even (after 9 on the east coast, 6 on the west coast) and then keep calling back. Hope this helps.
