Hi there

Today I got my biometrics appointment date. We'll be out of town on that day (and 3 more days after that).

I would have to reschedule my appointment. Has anybody thr recheduled it before? If so can we specify our convenient date or will the ASC give us another date?

Is it advisable to reschedule the appointment? Will it have any effect on my AOS processing time?

Not sure if you can ask for a specific date. Yes it will delay your AOS as it is an integral part of the process. Good Luck

Hi Kavitha. I just stopped by their office and asked them if I could reschedule. They took me on the spot. You will need your passport, your biometrics appointment letter, and your marriage certificate if you changed your last name. A lot of other people did this too.

Thanks a lot to all of you. I'll visit the ASC sometime soon. Lemme see how it works for me.

I have a strange problem now. I received the Biometrics apointment letter 3 days back, and I lost that paper somewhere. I wasted the whole of yesterday searching for it but in vain. I dont have a clue where it could have disappeared. Weird!!!

I have all of the NOA's receipts for I465, I 795 and I131, but this. Will the ASC allow me to do the biometrics with these, on a rescheduled date? I'm worried

I don't want to scare you but in the appointment letter it was written in bold capital letters

"PLEASE APPEAR AT THE BELOW APPLICATION SUPPORT CENTER AT THE DATE AND TIME SPECIFIED.

IF YOU FAIL TO APPEAR AS SCHEDULED, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED ABANDONED."

And besides when you go to have your biometrics you must bring the appointment notice...

I'm sorry to here you can't find it... All I can advice is for you to call USCIS soon and tell them what happen.

that's great to know because i work and would have to take off a day and we won't know exactly when to do that.. plus he will have a new job i guess and not sure how his employer may feel about it

Passage Revelation 19:11:

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

"satan is real and he's playing for keeps
God is realer and we are His sheep
which side are you on, CHOOSE, start moving your feet
choose JESUS and have ETERNAL PEACE" by GOD to me on 9/26/10 about 2am
Thank you Jesus!!!!
