It's a Psychology book.

interesting.

I thought the list should have maybe included when there are huge differences in ideas/ideals, goals, etc. If a couple hasn't spent time BEFORE marriage talking about what they want 5, 10, 20 years down the road, do they both want kids, how are they going to raise kids if they both have very strong, but different religious ideas....that sort of thing. I think some people get caught up in the lovey-dovey before marriage and don't think enough about how they are going to handle these differences.

Could you post the name of your source and author?

I'd like to know.

Thanks.

hello? is there some kind of issue you have here with me...if so, PM me, because otherwise this IS a discussion board where people are encouraged to DISCUSS topics that are posted. I don't think Shape expected everyone to agree with everything that is on the list. You seem to think I'm being critical of her and her source. If she wanted no one to comment, then this was the wrong place to post it, but again, I'm quite sure she didn't expect everyone to go, "oh, yeah, nice article, thanks". The article has valid points, and is a little thin in other areas. That's is just my humble opinion.

Good grief! VJ sheesh...

I don't solicit sarcasm. It was a serious question. I raise the question to validate the author's view on marital problems.

What is your problem? I was being polite in my question. And in case you don't know, the question is for the OP. And I believe you are not the same person.

Again, to the OP (SHAPE).

Could you give us the name of the author and title of the book?

It might be interesting to read about the author as well.

That's all.

Thank you.

ETA: I don't give a hoot what others are saying. I am asking the OP directly since it is her thread. It isn't much to ask for, is it?

actually noone is having any kind of issue here with you, definitely not me nor shape. i just happen to join the discussion aswell and in all fairness to shape, she clearly said she got this from a book ayt? and she is just being nice of sharing it to everyone. she welcomes any comment, its just that "some" were the ones who are in the wrong place to post their comments.

and i agree with u when u said it was a nice article... my humble opinion aswell. and pls dont get offended if i say i agree with u here, coz if u still think that i meant otherwise then whoooa i dont know how to comment anymore.
