I have a quick question. I used to be a F1 student. I went to California State University and got BA in summer of 2006. Within one month, I started grad school. However, it was very different from what I expected and did not like the program. I did not want to keep spending my parents' money for the program I did not favor and also did not want to keep being a studen who did not know anything about the real world. I was 22 at that time. So I decided to withdraw the program and return to Japan as soon as possible even though my fiance and I decided to marry. (this was just verbal agreement)

Now, I am trying to get K1 visa and soon I will have an interview. When I enter the US as a K1 holder, Is a IO might ask me why I withdrew the program? or similar things like related questions about my college years? Has anyone ever been asked such a thing?

I agree, I doubt they would question you on that. If they do, just tell them the truth.

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

Even if they WERE to ask you about it, there is no shame or wrongdoing in withdrawing from school and going back home.

Many many people go to school only to decide it's not for them.

Good luck with your K1. :)
