Dearest Everyone,

Maybe you were thinking why the title of my topic is "Uncommon Situation". Me and my Hubby are really worried about our uniqueness. We're not sure if our uniqueness will be an advantage or disadvantage for us. My Hubby is an adoptee. I haven't heard or read anything about an adoptee here filing for Petition for foreign fiancee or fiance. I think we're just f*cking up the system of USCIS because of our uncommon case..LOL We're really worried that maybe they will ask for documents about his adoption. Would it be possible? Anyways, if there's someone out there whose experiencing the thing as we are, you're not alone.

thanks everyone for taking time....Godspeed!

Anything is possible and they could ask for documents about his adoption if they see a need for it. I would keep it on hand just in case they send you an RFE for that however it is very unlikely.

Don't worry, your case is not that much different than anyone else's.

I mean unique because not because of being adopted but because only a few adoptee petitioner filing for visas. I knew of course that there's a lot of people being adopted. We are thinking of many possibilities cos and it's rare to get infos if there's additional document needed to bring on the interview and medical eventhough we're still far from it.

Peace Out!

You're right, anything can happen so we better expect the unexpected.

I'm just thinking ahead Estadia, because by the time i will be showing pics of me and my hubby to the consul interviewing me, they might ask for some pictures to show and there they will see it. My hubby's face is really far from being an American. By the way, my hubby is a Korean. That wouldn't be much issue if he's being adopted by Chinese people or Japanese. That's the reason why he knew since young that he's an adopted because of the difference between him and his parent's face.

Estadia thanks for your infos eh...I really do appreciate it.
