Hi , I tried calling NVC about my petition that was approved by USCIS on March 12th, I waited 5 minutes on hold only, she was so helpful. The $355 I sent with my petition for my Moroccan husband was just that for the petition, when I get my paper to send the Immigration fee that will be $400, it went up she said. Also she told me that sometimes it takes up to 90 days for them to receive the approvals from USCIS because the mail was 1 million and half more the times than usual for last year because the citizenship fees went up by the end of July 2007 so almost everyone filed to save money to become a citizen gerrrrrrrrrrrr thats why it is taking so long to get my husband here, so guess I will just whine here at home alone and wait another 6 months to have my husband in my arms, what the heck its been a year since we saw each other whats 6 months more grrrrrrrrrrr they do not care about anyones hearts these people, Iwill keep you posted when NVC gives me a case number, thanks for hearing my lonely heart venting , Diana

I got approved April 8th and my husband just recieved the notice last night the 15th...... so i dont know i guess the wait starts from now..... i cant believe the delay wd be from delivering papers!!!! it shud be the easiest part!!! *sigh* oh well i will have to just TRY to be patient as usual....

It is normally taking about two weeks from the NOA2 date to get from CSC to NVC.

Lsurvivor, Are you getting a CR1? Otherwise, you should not have to send any money to NVC and they will quickly forward your case to the appropriate embassy/consulate.
