Touching question

Hello VJ Friends,

Question: Since USICS seems to only be touching my I-129F "3 times in 4 days" and does that mean maybe only the I-129F will be apporved and not the I-130 petition??? And if so, is that a good thing??????

Thank you in advance for any information you can give me.

It is a good thing if your I-129F is approved before I-130 because if you want K3 that's the way it should be- I-129F approved and forwarded to the embassy.I-129F way should be the quicker way but somehow it seems that it isn't.

Thank you Jeca, for some reason I've read so much on the Visas and processing and etc, I still get mixed up. Anyways, I think it will all work out soon, or at least I pray it does.

Thanks again Jeca.

Jeca,

If approved, wouldn't I stil have to deal with the NVC first before the embassy????

If I-129f is approved you don't have to deal with NVC because it stays there for a few days before it is forwarded to embassy.Check this out:December filer lotofpatience got approved for I-130 only and his I-129F was canceled.Check it out on IR1/CR1 forum.

touches don't mean anything

Probley not, most likely just pairing up the I-130 with the I-129F, then back into a dust infested box with hundreds of others petitions to sit there to rot. Its emontinally draining what we go thry to be with our hubands/wifes. Somethings got to give soon. Its starting to take a toll on my marriage. And yes, Im VERY negative today.

I think your three touches (March and April) mean that you'll VERY soon get approved for your I-130. That is also consisten with your timeline...

You didn't get any touches on the 13 and 14 of April?

Perhaps your approval is already in the mail! good luck and be positive!

I disagree.. the pairing must have taken place closer to your NOA1... Recent touches MAY be a good sign, or perhaps means that they have started the checks on you? That an RFE is on the way? hope not that! ;-)

I-129F Touched April 11, 13 and 14. Should be no RFE cause we are newly weds, BUT, I sent life insurance polcies on each other, joint checking and savings, copy of his ATM card and his purchases in Paris, a joint Master Card, and a joint furniture account invoice, Utility bills in joint names, and a cable bill in both our names. And emails from day one and copies of letters, and cards we have sent each other since Nov. 2006, when we met to the very day I sent the I-129F. They will go blind from all the eveidence I sent them. Atleast everyting was marked in sections and a go by sheet for their easy reference, the whole package weighted about 2 pounds.

OMG, The only thing my husband sent were photos from our wedding! And you sent all that stuff, now I'm worried. If they ask for more we have a lot of evidence to send them but I just thought it wasn't necessary.I hope we don't get RFE.

No Jeca, I found out after I sent all that junk, that newlyweds who never lived together does not need to produce all that junk I sent. It took me about 1 1/2 months to get all that, but found out was not necessary.

Dont worry Hon, Im sure you would of got a RFE by now if they wanted it. Truly you are okay.

I also don't think those touches mean pairing up the I-129F and I-130, since it'd make sense that in that case they'd touch both applications.

Does someone know how long these security checks normally take?

Take call all!
