When should I mail DS-230

Hi guys,

I just mailed my IV payment and want to send in my DS-230 as soon its generated in NVC system. How long after should I mail it? I do want my process to be completed asap but also do not want NVC to get suspicious. Should I wait a week or so or should I send it in as soon as IVR says its generated?

Can someone please post a link to updated James shortcuts as well.

3/3/08 NVC assigns case #

3/10/08 Choice of agent and AOS bill generated

3/17/08 AOS bill received

3/19/08 NVC receives money order for AOS bill

3/17/08 Choice of agent email sent

3/21/08 Choice of agent confirmation email received

3/24/08 IV fee bill generated

3/26/08 AOS bill processed in the system

3/31/08 AOS I-864 generated

4/8/08 Received IV bill.

Do you have all required documents for DS-230? These documents must be in original or certified copy. Certified copies are copies certified by issuing agency and not by a notary.

* DS-230 - part 1 and 2 (remember do NOT sign part 2)

* Birth Certificate

* Court and Prison Record

* Deportation Documentation

* Marriage Certificate

* Photocopy of Valid Passport Biographic Data Page

* Police Certificate(s)

There's really no timeframe. You have to wait until NVC generates your DS-230 packet. You cant send it without it being generated first.
