Green Card Production Ordered...When Do We Get The Card?

Ok, as of April 10, 2008 the card has been ordered. The phone line said "if you don't get the card within 30 days contact us". I suspect this is along the same lines as "I-751 processing takes 6 months" joke. Or, we will be lucky if we get the card before the end of 2008.

Question is, has anyone gotten notification, then gotten a card within 30 days? If not, has anyone gotten it in less then 30 days? Or is 60 days a more logical amount to plan for?

June 2, 2008: N-400 Sent

June 3, 2008: N-400 Received at Nebraska Service Center

June 13, 2008: NOA1

June 16, 2008: Biometrics letter

June 24th, 2008: Biometrics Appointment

July 7th, 2008: Called FBI, verified that biometrics check has been completed and returned to USCIS

August 26th, 2008: N-400 Interview Passed

September 18th, 2008: Swearing in, Billings Montana

Send Expedited 14-day passport paperwork???

Took a week or so for us to get CR-Green-Card after getting card production notice.

Well, since the card was ordered yesterday, maybe we should expect it before the end of the month...I hope. Thank you for the reply!

June 3, 2008: N-400 Received at Nebraska Service Center

June 13, 2008: NOA1

June 16, 2008: Biometrics letter

June 24th, 2008: Biometrics Appointment

July 7th, 2008: Called FBI, verified that biometrics check has been completed and returned to USCIS

August 26th, 2008: N-400 Interview Passed

September 18th, 2008: Swearing in, Billings Montana

Send Expedited 14-day passport paperwork???

On one hand, we are happy its over, but its depressing to think of those that have gone longer then us with no result.

No, our file date was march 2007, about a month before yours. Maybe give it a few weeks.

I got an email too with "Card ordered" on April 9, 2008 and then another email saying the same thing "card ordered" on April 11, 2008...What is funny I thought the second email was about "approval notice send". When can I expect the card? :blush:

It has been a long time since I have posted. We got the notice of card production on 4-11-08. Hope it arrives

soon. I assume that means we have been approved. Also got a action notice stating that our case was moved

from Lincoln to California.
