Hi all!

I was wondering if any one has filed the I130 and I129f at the same time yet? W/o waiting to receive their NOA1 first? This is what we have done, and I'm now worried that we havent received our NOA1 yet for either of them and our check hasnt been cashed! It hasnt been very long I know (we filed on March 31st) but the reason for my concern is, I havent spoken to anyone that has done both together! Also I filed a I130 on behalf of my mother for my Uncle a week earlier and they received their NOA1 within 4 days! Super quick! So what do you think, did filing both slow the process of getting our NOA1?

Thanks!!

This is not correct procedure.

I-130 goes to the Chicago PO BOX.

I-129F has to be sent to the service center that is processing the I-130, either VSC or CSC.

Also NOTE: The decision to go CR-1 OR K-3 needs to be made BEFORE sending in the I-129F.

SEE: http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/PN_i-129f.pdf

If you want both petitions sent on to NVC, you need to clearly mark the I-130 that you want Counselor processing or the I-130. OR you will have to file an I-824 to keep the I-130 moving.

I read that when filing them both, together at the same time they are both sent to Chicago. It is only when you wait for your NOA1 that I would need to send the I129f to CSC. And as for which one is sent to the NVC.. we just looking for the quickest root and plan on filling the I-824 to get them both sent to NVC.

Jeca- Thank you that makes me feel a little better!
