 hi everybody

I am soo happy i could find this website where everybody can share information about couple and family inmigration problems.

i jst moved to The USA 3 weeks ago, i entered with B2 VISA or tourist visa that expired in 2011.

I got engaged with jon in janury of this year and i have so many questions about my legal situation, i have permision to be here until september, since i entered.

I dont know know if somebody had a similar situation like this, please answer me, i will really appreciate.

 to be honest i really have many question but i want to start with this 2:

1. can i get married with my tourist visa, or should i get a fiance visa while i am here and after that get married?

2. after i get married, how long i have to wait to change my status.

thanks all of you.

B-2 is a NON-Immigrant visa, so how can you "Move" to the USA? It is NOT for immigrationg to the USA and does NOT have IMMIGRANT intent. What you are doing is known as immigrations fraud.

1) You already expressed your intent so you should apply for a proper visa (K-1) or Marry now, and apply for a (CR-1 or K-3) visa and immigrate properly.

2) Apply for K-1 and enter, marry and adjust status, or marry now, and apply for K-3, then enter and adjust status. OR marry now and apply for CR-1, when you use that visa there is NO adjustment of status needed.

NOTE all visas require you ro return home and interview for the visa, and then enter the USA properly.

Lastly DO NOT overstay the time limit indicated on the I-94 card.
