Hi guys!

I am just wondering if anyone has been transferred to CSC without receiving an email?? and for those of you who did recieve an email, what does your case status say online? does it still say received and pending at the National service center or has your on-line status been updated to say it is being serviced at the California service center??? I am just wondering because we had touches on our account before and after biometrics but have not received and email about any transfer. Maybe we have just not been transferred :( but back in the K-1 process, when we got our NOA2 approval, we were never notified by email - ever!

and on this note, what happens if we are never transferred to CSC?? is everyone transferred eventually (we are in Seattle) or do some go all the way thru the process at the National Service center??? If we haven't been transferred by 1 week after biometrics are we likely not to be transferred at all?? thanks for any input!

I received an email stating that my case was transferred to CSC and it was also updated online that it was transferred.

06/02/2006 - filed I-129F

12/16/2006 - Enter States thru Atlanta

01/13/2007 - Marriage

01/19/2007 - Filed AOS and EAD to Chicago

02/06/2007 - NOA that AOS has been forwarded to CSC

02/12/2007 - Fingerprinting in St. Louis

03/28/2007 - email notification that card production ordered!!!! (Day 68)

04/20/2007 - GC in the mail.....no more USCIS for 2 years!!!!!

12/29/08 - Filed I-751 to VSC

01/12/09 - NOA in mail

01/24/09 - received ASC notice

02/06/09 - biometrics appointment in Orlando

02/09/09 - touch

06/01/09 - approval letter in mail

12/11/09 - Filed N-400 to NSC

12/14/09 - Package arrived at NSC

12/26/09 - NOA in mail

01/22/10 - Fingerprinting in Orlando

03/08/10 - Interview in Orlando (passed)

If you create an account on USCIS website, add the receipt numbers to the account you should receive email notices about case status changes.

EX:

Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing.

On June 6, 2007, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

You would not go through the entire process at NVC. If you are not transferred to California then you will be transferred to your local office for an interview. Sometimes even the one's sent to California get transferred back to the local offices.

K-1 journey, AOS/EAD and ROC in my timeline

2011 March 31 - Sent off Naturalization pkg overnight to Texas

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

Thanks for your reply, but I did create the online account with email updates for AOS and also for the original K-1 process, but it seems to work inconsistently as to whether or not email updates or online updates work....so I thought I would see if others had experience to share. Like I said in the OP, I never received email updates during K-1 even though things were happening. Just wondering if the same could be the case here. :wacko:

My most updated status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred. (since March 20th)

Really have NO CLUE how does the USCIS work...I got transferred 2.5 months after my biometrics!!! Still on the waiting boat!! :whistle:

AOS Process:

- 11-28-07 I-485/I-765/I-131 sent

- 12-06-07 NOA1 of AOS

- 12-18-07 received RFE for I-864

- 12-20-07 EAD and AP touched (Notice Returned as Undeliverable)

- 01-04-08 Biometrics appointment done

- 01-19-08 resent hubby's income proof

- 01-28-08 AOS touched (Response to RFE received, and case processing has resumed)

- 03-10-08 EAD and AP finally touched and approved!!! =)

- 03-12-08 Case Transfer to CSC

- 03-13-08 EAD Touched again (Card Production ordered)

- 03-17-08 AP and Transfer notice received in mail (AP valids until 03-09-09)

- 03-18-08 EAD touched again (Approval Notice sent)

- 03-20-08 EAD received in mail

- 03-27-08 AOS Touched everyday since 03-20 (Case pending)

- 04-01-08 Applied for my SSN with married name

- 04-07-08 SSN received in mail (YAY!!! No More ALIEN)

- 05-19-08 Received another RFE about medical

- 05-21-08 Visited family doctor for full medical exam

- 05-27-08 Visited civil surgeon to fill in I-693

- 05-28-08 Mailed out RFE reponse to CSC

- 05-30-08 USPS shows my RFE reponse was delivered at 11:22 AM in LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92607

- 06-04-08 RFE received and case processing has resumed

- 06-09-08 GC Card production ordered and welcome letter sent (6 months waiting!!!)

- 06-12-08 GC Approval Notice sent

- 06-16-08 GC and welcome letter received

Thats NBC not NVC. NVC is National Visa Center part of Department of state, NBC is the National Benefits Center which is USCIS.
