Hey everyone,

I know this is a random first post , but I was hoping someone could tell me if theres any sort of check points heading down toward the san diego zoo. My friend recently got tickets from her dad;thus, we were hoping we could take one of our closes friends. However, the fact that he's a non citizen (illegal immigrant) is an issue were dealing with. Does anyone have any experience they would like to share? PLEASE.

I will visit the forums frequently in the next few months, so any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am sure there is someone who can help you here.

However, understand that this forum is overrun by foaming-at-the-mouth haters who will insult you over and over again for being friends with an illegal.

You may need to wade through a ton of filth to find the information you need.

Good luck :)

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Their status is not a reflection of their character I always say. In his case, his family was screwed over by a crooked lawyer who set up an immigration meeting and basically had them deported after they paid his fee. It's really sad when you can't even take a trip to the zoo without worrying about issues like this.

Are you trying to IN the US? If so, I am almost positive your friend will not be allowed entry at any port. That's the way it is. Getting out is no problem.

As for the haters, they will come and lavish you with insults... let them be and don't mind them.

We're located in the la suburbs, so we were hoping to a make it a nice weekend trip down there in san diego. I'm asking is there any check points heading TOWARD the san diego area near the san diego zoo. I heard san clemente was pretty bad , and I know we have to pass it on our way down there. I'm just hoping to get some great information , so that nothing bad happens if we do decide to go down there. I don't mind the haters, most of my friends growing up were illegal, so i'd like to say i was informed rather than making bias stereotypical statements.

Oh I agree with you.

I was just warning you of the existence of a Dobbsian contingent of bigots on this site who will rake you over the coals over this... assuming they get wind of this thread.

Let's vote for hillary and stop the hate ! ( sarcasm)

Are you hoping for info like..."avoid this route" or "usually nobody will bother you there"?

I mean, I am all understanding for people who really want or "need" to live in the US, but I'd feel pretty uneasy to give advice like that.

There is a checkpoint just outside of San Clemente near Camp Pendleton but in all my times of going past there, we've never been stopped, although we have seen the guards etc wandering around. I don't know when they most likely stop traffic or their criteria for doing so, but I know they do makes stops because my husband has said before that he's been stuck there for hours when they've done it.

Sorry can't be more helpful.

I understand your concern / point of view. I'm not smuggling anyone IN to the country, so please be a bit considerate. I simply want to plan a trip with a friend who just happens to be illegal. I just want to know if theres anways possibility this trip could cause him problems.

Thanks for being straight forward. :star: I suppose they search for stereotypical cars/people and conduct their searches  Hopefully if we do head down there, the traffic won't be as bad
