I just opened my e-mail to find:

Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT

RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On March 31, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow

30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from

you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call

customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we

process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

After the fiasco of the cancelled interview on the 21st, I was really surprised that things moved so fast! And VERY happy that I didn't need an interview after all. I actually double-checked where the e-mail was coming from to make sure it wasn't an April Fools joke!!!

april 15/08 finally after 15 months my 10 yr GC arrived

2009 need to renew can.passport, ug will all this never end
