Called UCIS agian today and they told us to request an info pass. I guess we are going to have to do that. She told me that we would should be able to get interiem EAD permit for 244 days. I doubt it, but I sure hope so.

Another proof that costumer's representatives not always know what they are talking about, local offices don't issue interim EAD anymore. When I went for my infopass the lady that I talked to was mean, when I told her that I was there about my I-765 application, she said that they have absolutely nothing to do with it. But I think the infopass helped, when she finally called and talked to somebody from NBC. I think you should definitely make an appointment.

That is what I figured. I asked for a service request, but she acted like she never heard of that. I guess it like the lottery, keep trying and hope you get lucky that somebody knows what they are talking about at UCIS.

Hi Everyone,

First off, CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who is moving along. Ella, it finally came I bet you are thrilled and an interview date.

That is just awesome..

I have been a bit MIA. Just a little update, I havent been able to get the our friend to fill out the papers for the Joint Sponsor yet. He has been out of the country. A bit irritiating, but hopefully will be getting it out this week.

Things have been stressful around here, finances are getting tighter and because I can't work its putting a bit of a strain on us. I dont even check the website or here very often anymore :(

But I am hoping that once I get the papers in that they want, it will fly through.

All the best to everyone and I may be MIA for a bit longer. But I'll come give un update once I get one.

Hi Steph, thank you, I haven't received my interview letter yet though and my case is still at NBC.

I think that when you send them what they want, you will get EAD and interview letter very soon, it's usually like that with RFE.

I really know what you mean, it is so stressful when you can't work and make money, hopefully you will hear something soon!

All the best and we are all waiting for good news about your case! (F)

Well in Limbo at the moment. Trying to figure out the next step really.

I can't tell you how much I want to kick someone in the balls at USCIS for not looking at the $250K + in assets that my sweet husband has.

I just can't even think about it...my 31st Birthday is coming up soon and we were supposed to go to Puerto Rico, but we are stuck here now because my drivers license is about to be expired and I need the EAD to renew it....
