Neither do Muslims. If people calling themselves Christians were doing that, you'd be plenty busy telling us how they are not true Christians, but you won't accept it when Musims tell you these aren't true Muslims because your hatred suits you.

You are also ignorant of ME history, a subject I wrote my Ph.D dissertation about. The history of bombings and political murder there goes back much further than today and crosses religious and ethnic lines, but the history has been buried, Ever heard of Irgun or the bombing of the King James Hotel? I doubt it, but I'm sure you will find a way doctrinnaire way to excuse it.

It is Irgun's bombing of King David Hotel. Former Prime Ministers, terrorists Menachem Begin and Yitzhak Shamir were the members of terrorist group Irgun. Both Begin and Shamir were wanted by the British Authority for their involvement with terrorist activities.

There are hateful websites against all religions. Anyone can paste a link. But what puspose will it serve? LuckyStrike keeps saying he only has problems with terrorists, but now it seems that he has problem with the religion, Islam itself. I think, attacking a religion in this website is not helpful, since VJ has members from all religions, races. I am drawing the attention of Captain Ewok and all moderators in this regard.

No I didn’t. I agree that bombing King David Hotel was a terror act, but explain please how bringing the subject about Jewish and Christian terror will undermine the Muslim terror. Isn’t the topic about Muslim Terror?

No religion supports terrorism. But people from different religions do commit terrorism in the name of religion throughout the history. Saying Allah Akbar before committing a terror act does not mean Islam supports it. Christians also killed people in the name of Christ, though Christ said "Thou shall not kill." Anyone can get some verses from the Qur'an or Bible and write a book, make a short film, but it won't bring any positive in the society. Freedom of expression does not mean one has right to offend a country, a religion, or an ethnic group.

While yes not all Muslims are murdering bombers the reality still remains that there is a huge faction which does believe in using violence as a means, even in 2008. Sept 11 happened around 7 years ago. I am sure that it is only a matter of time before they try something else. These guys did not just put their weapons, and hatred, down and walk away from it. Which leads me to believe something is cooking.

Unfortunately other Muslims are having their religion tarnished by their actions. And will continue to do so as long as they use violence as a means.

We have a huge group of people on VJ who are Muslim and this thread can only serve the purpose of upsetting and antagonizing them. VJ isn't the place to get in digs about ANY religion so I'm going to close this thread.
