Hey all,

I filed my AOS application in Feb, but I didn't include filing for AP. Got my NOAs for both AOS and EAD, and my biometrics appt is next week (pls see my sig). The problem is, something happened and I need to leave the country and go home sometime in April, and I don't think I'll get my GC by then. Can I file for AP seperately now? Will I be able to get it before I leave? Aww now I'm kinda angry at myself for not filing for AP together with my AOS.

Pls help!! :help:

Thanks

In that case, will I have to do my biometrics again for AP?

If you have your Biometrics, but have not received your info back from the AOS, can you file the I-131?

From the link above it does look like you can however someone wrote earlier there was no cost, but the USCIS site states "As in the past, the application fee for the I-131 form cannot be waived."

So wondering if this was for something else or if I will still have to send in the application along with the fee.

She wants to travel by June, so we are concerned she will not have the proper docs in by that time.

So is the I-131 the way to go?
