I got this email this morning! This is after 1 year and 3 months waiting, contacting the congressman and having the case reviewed and now almost going nuts because of our move to Germany in a couple months.

I can be relieved now, right??? I mean, that's it, I am approved and should have the card soon? How long does it usually take until the card arrives, I am just asking because we have to move out of our house by April 20....

Just curious why was your case delayed ?

My best guess is due to FBI namecheck...

No, it wasn't delayed due to FBI namecheck. I got that confirmed a while ago already. Nobody really knew why, that's why I contacted my Congressman to have my case reviewed. That was Jan 16th this year and basically 2 months later I got approved!:-)

To answer your question, journeyman: I still don't know and probably never will.

My guess is, that my local office is New Orleans, which for a while "stored" cases at California Service Center and I guess they "forgot" it there??
