We combined the Letter of Intent and declaration of relationship on 1 typed page. Here it is:

K1 Fiancée Visa Petition of

Robert X. Xxxxx, on behalf of

Amanda X. Xxxxx

Being duly sworn, I, Robert X. Xxxxx, declare:

I am the petitioner named above. I am a citizen of the United States, having been born in (city, state) on (date). I live at (U.S. address).

It is my intention to marry Amanda X. Xxxx within ninety days of her arrival in the United States on a K-1 fiancé visa. In fact, we are planning the wedding for (date), so I hope this petition will be approved in time for us to keep these wedding plans.

I met Amanda through a friend that I work with at (company name) in Limerick, Ireland in July, 2004. We instantly hit it off and began to see each other frequently. It was evident that this was going to be a long term relationship and we are very happy together and can’t wait to get married.

I proposed to Amanda this year on (date) while at dinner and she happily accepted. I met Amanda’s parents last year and have spent many hours at their house. Both her mother and father have given us their blessing to get married and for Amanda to live her life with me in America. Amanda’s parents and I get along great and we have been to numerous hurling matches and dinners together.

As evidence that my fiancée, Amanda and I have met each other in person and are getting married because we love each other, I am attaching several snapshots taken of us together in Ireland this year. Some of the photos are with her family at their house in Clare, as well as some others of the two of us around the Limerick area.

Good Luck

Amanda

it's better to follow the example of the fiancee letter of intenet in this site,it's easy and contains all ,just put ur address and the address of the service center, ur names in the letter body and then sign it.About the declaration of the relationship what u wrote in I-129f is enough and u send some pics ,letters and those stuffs with all the package.

Translations generally have to be accompanied by a certificate of the translator's qualifications.... I don't think a private translation will be accepted.... (?)

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I too have a question, are we supposed to hand-write the letter of intent or we should take print outs ?

Print them out (we literally copied and pasted the VJ example, just inserted our names etc.) sign them, put them in the packet. There is no need to have them notarized (someone said this was required up thread, but it is not.)
