Just to elaborate a bit.

Transcripts are simpler, better. But they they're not available for 2007 until June 30, 2007. I know because I ordered transcripts for the last 3 years, 2007, 2006, and 2005.

They (IRS) sent me transcripts for 2006 and 2005 and a letter that 2007 aren't available.

But I ended up not using the transcripts anyway because IRS took their time in mailing it and I decided not to wait. As of yesterday when I spoke to an operator, she confirmed that my I-864 is accepted and fine. No RFE.

My .02 is, if you have copies of your returns and all W2s, why wait for the transcripts?

That isnt true. I ordered 2005 2006 and 2007 last week and already have all 3 of them.

You can get 2007 now. I ordered the past 3 years and didnt have a problem with 2007 but for some reason I did with 2006 so I spoke with an operator and she faxed a copy of 2006 and also mailed a copy.

you can send 2007 tax return without irs script. just include w2.

matter of fact you can include your last 3 years tax return w/w2 attach and it will be fine no need to order irs script.

i didn't submit irs script that they accept everything
