Lurking and I go back through a number of previous threads...some where she was putting out inaccurate information regarding the k-3. It is easy enough to do a search.

Making cavalier and inaccurate statements helps no one and confuses newcomers. Several respected posters confronted her but we discovered that she does not accept criticism or corrections very well and will continue to insist she's right...despite proof to the contrary.

But as I have said...she's a cheerleader and marches to her own drum. If that inspires people and gives them hope...well good.

Hey Lurking,

Thanks for the effort - our names are among those on the list. Our I129F left the NVC on 25th March and received by the Consulate on 28th March. I have contacted the Consulate and advised that I will be collecting all packages from them (I've had enough waiting and delays). Now I wait for them to holler :-)

Good work with the tables, thanks again

I don't think our K-3 visa will be approve, our I-130 was approved on 3/26  and I am so happy about that!!! I would have liked our K-3 to be approved as well, but it hasn't been as of yet. But I am happy about our I-130.. I think because it's been already 8 months for the K-3 visa that they decided not to approve that one. Also we will be married 2 years now, so maybe that has a lot to so with it as well. I will keep you posted if our K-3 visa gets approve.

But I am HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY :dance::dance:

Congratulations, Nita!!!

Well deserved!! I am glad to see your process is moving along!!!

Now, a quick question for everyone else: today I've been calling the NVC and I get a busy signal. Only once the call went through. Do you know if this is normal, or are they having trouble with their phones? Also, for the K3 visa, would the automated system be able to tell me if they have received my case, or do I need to get a hold of an operator?

Thanks and... congratulations again, Nita!!

Thank you Robert! You and your family are in my prayers. I have faith!

Hey Lurking,

Hang in there! I have been reading this since you started and I have enjoyed it very much. I have loved how all these people have berated and critized you. But, you stood your ground and had FAITH. I too have had faith and will continue to believe that the I-129's will be approved and my wife and step-daughter will be with me soon. If I did not have this faith, I would go crazy. So, for me and my wife, Mary, THANK YOU!

I have not put out any inaccurate information. Let me see what inaccurate info I have put out? I can cut and paste a few from you.

Oh one is that the I129f/k3 is dead. I said that it was not. hhhmm who was correct. ME!

LIke I stated before I knew about Admin closed cases before you! I have a thread way back asking if anyone's case had been closed. that is why I started my CR1, because I heard that peoples cases were being Admin closed. Now my Cr1 is almost done. but when a friend of mine I129f was approved 6 months after her I130. I started to research what was going on. I read the USCIS employee manual and every direction regarding the I129f petition. To know that the USCIS has no right to do this. Will they get away with it? Absolutely, because no one in their right mind dares to stand up to them during this process. Plus, most are just happy that their I130 petition was approved.

You are the one that gave in accurate information. I gave facts.

So stop harassing me. I walk with authority and faith, which you do not like coming from women. Will you put your wife in her place when she gets here? I am not that girl!

I will update the timeline soon. I have been super busy with work and my son. I look forward to updating with the new information.

God bless all of your journeys.

Hi Lurking,

Thanks for the advise. I have already taken your advise and looked at the embassy information. I am preparing for the interview as I speak. He is understandably nervous, but I keep reassuring him that everything will be fine and to just speak from the heart. That seems to help. Good luck with your journey.

Deb

Hello, Nita!

On the batch next week? That would be awesome! Anyway, if we were able to wait CSC for 10+ months, waiting a few weeks on NVC doesn't seem like a big deal.

About your K3... I don't want to give any false hopes, or any missinformation, but I've read cases where the K3 was supposedly dead and all of a sudden they received the approval. I am specifically talking about the case of a user named "DevineMercy", from the K3 thread (Deb knows her well). I guess you never really know what will happen with USCIS.

In any case, you are right. If your spouse can come to the US as a resident (and not under the K3), in the long term you will it be much better.

Ok... I am ready for next week!! Thanks for the info, Nita!

JC,

Have you been calling NVC. Our petitions left CSC on Friday and got to NVC yesterday. They confirmed that our K-3 will be forwarded to Bogota in about two weeks. We have Packet 3 ready to fax so we can get an interview at absolute latest in June. If we're lucky, we might get May.

If you haven't already, call 603-334-0700 press 1 and then 2 at the prompts. You won't get through every time, but keep trying.
