I have been working out of town for the last month and a half, and the USCIS sent me a letter on Jan 30,2008 asking me a question in reference to convictions by court or court marshals (I have neither). The response was to be sent before March 3,2008. I got back in town on March 7th..I'm sending the response out ASAP, but I noticed it says no extensions. Am I screwed here or is there hope? Thanks in advance.

Definitely return the documents requested and explain that you were away on work-related travel and did not receive the request until today when you returned, asking them to please consider them even though they are late.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I'm sending them first thing in the morning FedEx...and will call as soon as they open. The only thing that kinda comforts me is that I have no convictions of any type. But I know immigration can be a pain..I just hope they don't deny me because of this...
