I looked over the NOA1 closer and noted that they left off the E on the end of Katherine.

Just call them and have them correct it over the phone?

Call them on the phone with your case # and they'll tell you what to do, but trust me- you MUST have this fixed.

You know, that stupid form w/ the little "+" sign there is all fine and dandy if you could file electronically and they could read the rest of what's there... but you can't.... :angry: sooooooooooo, that's why my fiance' and I ended doing the whole thing by hand instead cuz we couldn't fit stuff on one itsy bitsy line sometimes!!! grrrr....

Oh well, it's done now.... fingers crossed, waiting for the first approval now - I hope you have everything cleared up!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved

I agree, I hate those forms with the little + sign, it screws you all up if you have long words to type in. I hope you get it resolved quickly and good luck to you :thumbs:

ok, spent a half an hour on the phone w/ CSC this morning. The lady was not the most pleasant person in the world, but was at least efficient. The number of questions was a little amazing, especially just to get one field corrected. She said that I should have some form of notification of the change in the next 30 days. I hope everything goes smoothly with this.....

Leonedesa had a similar misspelling on the NOA2. Since the paper work was sent straight away to Manila (K1 Visa), I called the embassy, then I emailed. I got an email in about two weeks later with the correction. Of course they failed to correct the same mistake on her daughters last name. The righ spelling on the I-526/ I-527 forms corrected that.
